| Welcome, my name is Gail, Daughter/Webmaster. I have created this web site with love, not only to pay tribute to the USS Yorktown CV-5 and the men who fought at the Battle of Midway. It is also a tribute to my Dad (Peter Karetka "Flags"), who is a DECORATED World War II Combat Veteran, so he may tell his story. He was in the US Navy as a signalman from November of 1940 to December of 1946. Thank you Dad for fighting for our freedom... |
